Ideas for how to use your pictures (other than just sharing them on social media)

Photoshoots are so much fun, but a lot of business owners wonder if they are worth the investment. After all, you only need so many pictures for your website and social media.

Your goal in marketing, though, is to build out your brand so thoroughly that everyone who sees something you produce will automatically recognize it as yours. Having a collection of fully branded photos is such an amazing asset in this endeavor, so here are a few of the ways you can use your images (other than social media).

1. All of your print marketing materials

Digital marketing might be the way of the future, but a good old-fashioned flyer can still go a long way and reach a lot of people. Your photos can add a special touch to everything from banners to brochures.

2. Presentation slides

Whether you are pitching your company to investors or onboarding a new client, professional (and branded) pictures of you and your company add a special touch and help you stand out visually while subtly reinforcing your brand.

3. Update your social media pages

Everything from your Google My Business profile to your LinkedIn to your Facebook - give whatever profiles you have for your business a refresh! These pictures are designed to give your customers and clients a peek into your life and brand, so scatter them liberally.

4. Personalize everything your client touches

This can include things like:

  • Thank you notes
  • CRM Client portals
  • Welcome packets

5. Add them to your media kit

As the amazing business owner that you are, you are most likely going to be featured in a variety of media. Branded pictures are a great thing to have at the ready, so that if you write a guest post for a website, are interviewed for a magazine, or featured on tv, you have professional images ready to promote you!

Bonus: Décor items

  • Custom calendars
  • Print and frame some of your favorite images
  • Make custom ornaments for you and your team
  • Mugs, tumblers, playing cards, mouse pads - you name it, you can get your pictures on it
